Welcome after a bit longer break – from now on we’ll be presenting more material from this year – and please believe us, there will be a lot to see.

Wedding of Kasia and Mikołaj was truly magical. They’re photographers (we know Kasia and her photos for years), cat lovers (Lutka the cat, despite the initial embarrassment seems to like to be photographed – ), fans of pastel colours and Game of Thrones. Aesthets, charming and humble people, enjoyable converastion companions. They caught us by the heart with their vision of the ceremony taking place in April’s orchard in full bloom.

Most of decorations they made themselves. They gathered lavender on the nearby Fox Field, which they lated used to hang in the form of wreaths, as gifts for guests, part of the Kasia’s bouquet (and her floral crown). Their preparation gave the venue that special vibe and their clothing sets were totally amazing (lilac dress and cat-themed accessories!)

Orchards played us all though and decided not to bloom on the time. We played back and came back two days after the ceremony for a session. Cherry Orchards belong to mr Piotr Muzyk so Kasia and Mikołaj asked us to put the thanks here for making it available for a ceremony.

It was gorgeous, sunny day full of emotions and family warmth. The view of Kasia, approaching with her father, adorned in gorgeous rippling dress is something to remember. Entrance was accompanied by the Game of Thrones theme played on violin.

Reception took place shortly after – it was nice and familiar party for maybe less than hundred guests. Responsible for lights and music was our old good friend Mateusz Dworczak.

Kasia & Mikołaj, thank you for that we could be with you on that sepcial day.

Links and information about the wedding are placed at the end of the post.

After their wedding, Baran and Wax took us for a walk around their belowed places around Szczyrk. It was november so most of a time it was raining during that day, although it was not enough to prevent us to record all that what you can see below. It was delightful and difficult at the same time to run after them with a camera as they were acting like they did not care much for posing nor photographs being taken. They had their own strong feeling between them at that was the most important thing. You might see that in those subtle gestures, in their eyes and smiles. Please enjoy the foggy forest tale of Ania and Piotrek.

Baran & Wax, or rather Ania and Piotrek – they have that something in their eyes. That kind of magic and sincere feeling around them – things that are sought-after by everybody who takes photography consciously. We’re extremely grateful that even for that two short days we had a chance to see such pure love that connects them and it was simply amazing.

Their wedding was a surprise for us on many levels. For a start it was our very first wedding we have done in our career in november, second – it was a DIY folklore wedding. Ania as a painter and an artistic soul took care of everything – she designed wedding invitations, her own bouquet and venue decorations. You can also spot below custom made shoes, beloved Moomins mugs and classic polish pottery from Bolesławiec.
Ceremony took place in the magnificent church of St. Jacob in Szczyrk. Mass was conducted by a close friend of the couple, a catholic priest with a passion for bicycle excursions, like that one they had a chance to take to Syberia together. In this place we have to add that booth of the newlyweds (especially Wax) are great bicycle fans. Piotrek is a long range rider and he can grind such distances that count not in tens but in hundreds or thousands of kilometers. Therefore travels are integral part of their lives and we can say that we envy them such vitality and power of will.

We are really enchanted by our Couples. All of them are people with such strong passion, full of love for each other and people around them – they have that viral thing that push us out to do even more. Thank you!

An engagement session is most often your very first meeting with a professional photographer. And some people feel extra embarrassed in front of the camera and a person behind it, whom they see as a complete stranger. Such session is a great idea to break the ice and get to know people (your photographers!) with whom you are going to spend quite long time and it is a great opportunity to have some great fun.
As a result not only you will have the photos from the session, which makes a great souvenir by themselves, but also you can use this material in many different ways (and some of the most popular are):
– For wedding invitations or save-the-dates.
– As a “thank you” postcards for guests or parents, sometimes as a big print.
– For a decoration of a venue (board with photos, “exhibition” or flying gallery – photos attached to the balloons filled with helium, guest book, photo album, etc.).
– For a slideshow displayed during the wedding party.
– As a photo for “will you be my bridesmaid?” puzzle.

Pretty much everybody knows few positive weirdos, this couple however beats 95% of them. They are simply volcanoes of energy, dynamite, amazingly warm people (order doesn’t matter). If you add to that the eastern-polish hospitality, pinkish wedding dress, slowly paced and emotional ceremony conducted in Orthodox Church then you have truly explosive mix. On this wedding evereybody had so much fun, there was dances on the loudspeakres, spontaneous singing, shirts and other clothes were flying around. Just scroll down and see for yourself.

She – beautiful, filigree, with a storm of golden curls, energy of an atomic bomb and wide, disarming smile.
He – handsome, heavy into photography (well, we had to interrupt our geek talk few times just to make photos), energetic, brilliantly dressed.

You could probably remember Kasia and Marek from our Facebook page where they appeared in their engagement sesssion and we could say they are the most smiling couple we had a chance to photograph. Lovers of pretty retro things, motorcycles and long range travles. Their amazing first dance was fast jive. And finally they helped to realize our dream photo, for which we are very thankful as they had to sacrifice the comfort of the venue for 10 minutes of really cold, rainy and foggy autumn night. We just had to do it even if we were already packed and leaving after whole day.
Long story short – one amazing couple with whom there’s a thousand topics to talk about and they never seem to end. If someday we’re going to set up a workshop for a fellow photographers this couple would be one to pose there, for sure.

And that’s almost the end of Wedding Season 2015, one rustic wedding after another which was really amazing thing to happen to us. Please, take a look.
