Welcome after a bit longer break – from now on we’ll be presenting more material from this year – and please believe us, there will be a lot to see.

Wedding of Kasia and Mikołaj was truly magical. They’re photographers (we know Kasia and her photos for years), cat lovers (Lutka the cat, despite the initial embarrassment seems to like to be photographed – ), fans of pastel colours and Game of Thrones. Aesthets, charming and humble people, enjoyable converastion companions. They caught us by the heart with their vision of the ceremony taking place in April’s orchard in full bloom.

Most of decorations they made themselves. They gathered lavender on the nearby Fox Field, which they lated used to hang in the form of wreaths, as gifts for guests, part of the Kasia’s bouquet (and her floral crown). Their preparation gave the venue that special vibe and their clothing sets were totally amazing (lilac dress and cat-themed accessories!)

Orchards played us all though and decided not to bloom on the time. We played back and came back two days after the ceremony for a session. Cherry Orchards belong to mr Piotr Muzyk so Kasia and Mikołaj asked us to put the thanks here for making it available for a ceremony.

It was gorgeous, sunny day full of emotions and family warmth. The view of Kasia, approaching with her father, adorned in gorgeous rippling dress is something to remember. Entrance was accompanied by the Game of Thrones theme played on violin.

Reception took place shortly after – it was nice and familiar party for maybe less than hundred guests. Responsible for lights and music was our old good friend Mateusz Dworczak.

Kasia & Mikołaj, thank you for that we could be with you on that sepcial day.

Links and information about the wedding are placed at the end of the post.

Pretty much everybody knows few positive weirdos, this couple however beats 95% of them. They are simply volcanoes of energy, dynamite, amazingly warm people (order doesn’t matter). If you add to that the eastern-polish hospitality, pinkish wedding dress, slowly paced and emotional ceremony conducted in Orthodox Church then you have truly explosive mix. On this wedding evereybody had so much fun, there was dances on the loudspeakres, spontaneous singing, shirts and other clothes were flying around. Just scroll down and see for yourself.

There are some people whose energy overlaps completely with Yours. You are at ease with them, similar things amuse you, there is a connection. So it was with Asia and Tomek. We met a few days before the wedding and we felt like we already know them. And the wedding itself .. was fabulous, phenomenal and refined in two hundred percent. Amazing speeches united visitors and many glasses full of Polish liqueur crashed on the floor. Thank you for the possibility to be there.

Ania and Kuba contacted us around month before their wedding and they got nothing ready besides choosen church, planned hours and idea for a wedding party. This wasn’t the first situation like this in our career, though they for sure were in the top 3 when it come to efficiency and the speed of organization. It turned out great and we were sure from the very start that it will be so. This wedding is an another one from DIY weddings (another intersting DIY wedding we were lucky to photograph was that ofKasia and Piotrek). Decoration made of pine needles, wood and ribbons adorned the hut and part of the florist was played by Ania’s sister. Wedding invitiations used photographs from engagement session we did shortly before wedding and was designed by Ania herself.
Kuba was dressed in navy blue suit and woodden accesories (bowtie, cuffs nad wooden pocket square – sic!). Ania donned a modular dress with a longer and shorter skirt and pretty wild pearl necklace worn on the back.
Bride and Groom drove around in red oldsmobile, legendary Polish Fiat 126p (lent by the lovely Grandfather).
At the party there was a bonfire, home-made burgers and tasty naked cake. DJ who usually does not play at weddings agreed to play at this part and did amazing job. Strings made of bare light bulbs lit the dance floor made of fresh green grass, it was magical, intimate and natural – just like we like it best! As you see there’s no real need to spend thousands on your own wedding. There are so many ways to do it with help of your family and friends and the most important things are emotions and memories which will remain with you from that day.
