Paulina and Adrian - session in Rome
Please meet Paulina and Adrian. We are going to start in unusal way, with the session made after the wedding. Wait, how... without a wedding dress? Well, yes - as you see many things were different this time.
Paulina got an idea that shortly after their wedding they will be going for a short trip to Rome, which is like second home to them. So the bridesmaids delegation were sent to deliver the special present - airplane tickets. He was stunned. Later on he learned that they're not going alone and we're going to keep them company for a few moments. His expression was priceless.
The wedding took time on friday and on monday we were already in Rome and it was perfect. Everything - places, light, energy! Awesome Paulina and Adrian were totally in love with eachother and didn't mind us taking pictures at all.
Enjoy the warmth of sunny Rome.
Klara and Tomasz - wedding at Endorfina Foksal, Warsaw
Long time ago when we got an inquiry from Klara about a wedding coverage we were more than happy as we already knew and like her own photography work very much. Then came those little dreadful thoughts if we're good enough for the job and if she's going to like our work at all? But it seems we did it just right. ;)
From the very start we knew that wedding of Klara and Tomasz will be planned meticulously and perfectly executed, involving amazing people and accompanied by astonishing details and places.
We met in Warsaw on the day of the Midsummer Night and it was on the hottest one of that summer. Brief, civil ceremony took place in the shaded garden of a venue. Weather was pleasant whole evening so everybody enjoyed the warmth outside and the atmosphere was full of friendly smiles and laughs. Helpful floral artist taught guests how to make their own flower crowns as this was also the night of "Wianki" - old polish tradition celebrated during the Midsummer Night's time. It was light, unhurried and exquisite event, just like a dream. A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Thank you for your trust, understanding and your beautiful love, that we had chance to capture on frames.
Kasia and Paweł - engagement session in the old cinema
Today we want to show you something unusual and special for an engagement session and even if we totally love colours we did it completely in black and white. Kasia and Paweł knew exactly what they wanted and we went for the nostalgic feel of the old cinema and to capture the intimate emotions between them.
Some of that photographs were later used as a wedding gifts or as a decoration, and it's always very nice for us to see our work used in such manner.
Now it's a time for a short story with an old Hollywood in the background, enjoy.
Milena and Michał - session in Austrian Alps
One chilly week we went on an adventure to Austria by car. Decision to go by car quickly paid off as the route was full of marvellous views and we quickly fell in love with Austria and it's countryside. We were very glad that the very first encounter wasn't the one that happen on the airport or in the big city like Vienna - instead it was wild and natural.
Despite capricious weather and sometimes very cold temperatures we were able to conjure very many amazing images with Milena and Michał. Nature always nurture us with her charms, making our creativity grow, silence us, give us chances for different approach and inspire tremendous awe.
We took photos in two different locations on two separate days. Though they have one thing in common (besides the couple) - Alps. First we visited Grüner See (amazing mountain lake which appears for some time during the year after winter snow melts enough to fill the lake's bed) and on the second day it was Schöckl mountain.
Milena, Michał - thank you very much for showing us such amazing places, night talks and rice. We're looking forward to your special day in September.
Baran & Wax - wedding session
After their wedding, Baran and Wax took us for a walk around their belowed places around Szczyrk. It was november so most of a time it was raining during that day, although it was not enough to prevent us to record all that what you can see below. It was delightful and difficult at the same time to run after them with a camera as they were acting like they did not care much for posing nor photographs being taken. They had their own strong feeling between them at that was the most important thing. You might see that in those subtle gestures, in their eyes and smiles. Please enjoy the foggy forest tale of Ania and Piotrek.
Baran & Wax
Baran & Wax, or rather Ania and Piotrek - they have that something in their eyes. That kind of magic and sincere feeling around them - things that are sought-after by everybody who takes photography consciously. We're extremely grateful that even for that two short days we had a chance to see such pure love that connects them and it was simply amazing.
Their wedding was a surprise for us on many levels. For a start it was our very first wedding we have done in our career in november, second - it was a DIY folklore wedding. Ania as a painter and an artistic soul took care of everything - she designed wedding invitations, her own bouquet and venue decorations. You can also spot below custom made shoes, beloved Moomins mugs and classic polish pottery from Bolesławiec.
Ceremony took place in the magnificent church of St. Jacob in Szczyrk. Mass was conducted by a close friend of the couple, a catholic priest with a passion for bicycle excursions, like that one they had a chance to take to Syberia together. In this place we have to add that booth of the newlyweds (especially Wax) are great bicycle fans. Piotrek is a long range rider and he can grind such distances that count not in tens but in hundreds or thousands of kilometers. Therefore travels are integral part of their lives and we can say that we envy them such vitality and power of will.
We are really enchanted by our Couples. All of them are people with such strong passion, full of love for each other and people around them - they have that viral thing that push us out to do even more. Thank you!
Do you need an engagement session?
An engagement session is most often your very first meeting with a professional photographer. And some people feel extra embarrassed in front of the camera and a person behind it, whom they see as a complete stranger. Such session is a great idea to break the ice and get to know people (your photographers!) with whom you are going to spend quite long time and it is a great opportunity to have some great fun.
As a result not only you will have the photos from the session, which makes a great souvenir by themselves, but also you can use this material in many different ways (and some of the most popular are):
- For wedding invitations or save-the-dates.
- As a "thank you" postcards for guests or parents, sometimes as a big print.
- For a decoration of a venue (board with photos, "exhibition" or flying gallery - photos attached to the balloons filled with helium, guest book, photo album, etc.).
- For a slideshow displayed during the wedding party.
- As a photo for "will you be my bridesmaid?" puzzle.
Kinia and Marcin
Today's entry is a special one for us. Not often you got to photograph a wedding of your close friends. We know Marcin for years and Karolina did many photographic sessions with his help and it's safe to say that they work together since she moved to Poznań. Plus that he's responsible for her own weird hair experiments and splendid colours. Later on he also started to be Michal's barber, meanwhile awesome and sweet Kinia appeared and it all ended up with a wedding. ;) The Day itself was quite unusal - split in three parts. After short civil ceremony they had a dinner for closest family and in the evening all the friends met at the party in Trochę Kultury ;). This all wouldn't be complete without the scissors, amazing Kizia the cat, makeup that Kinia did herself (by the way, she's amazing makeup artist - she did makeup for our another bride, Ada), pastels and hot atmosphere - literally as that probably was a hottest day in whole 2015 in Poland. After celebrations we went for photos and rest to Barcelona. We walked through the city patched out of old and new and enjoyed the sun.
We hope images will charge you with colours and smiles, have fun browsing!
